Every rider is different.

RedEye Service Course is built around understanding the relationship between rider, equipment, and goals—helping cyclists find solutions that support comfort, confidence, and long-term enjoyment of the sport.

The Practice

Helping riders solve complex challenges often requires looking beyond a single discipline. Over the past three decades, Thomas McDaniel has worked across bicycle retail, bike fitting, biomechanics, product development, rider education, and performance consulting, building a broad understanding of the many factors that influence comfort, performance, and long-term enjoyment on the bike.

His background includes academic study in exercise science, biomechanics, and integrative physiology, along with university-level teaching experience in anatomy, physiology, exercise physiology, and biomechanics. That foundation has been complemented by years of hands-on work with cyclists of all abilities, helping riders navigate everything from persistent discomfort and equipment decisions to performance goals and long-term durability.

Today, RedEye Service Course brings those experiences together in one place—helping riders make informed decisions, better understand their equipment, and get more from their time on the bike.

A Systems-Based Approach

The best solutions often come from understanding how multiple factors interact—not simply treating the most obvious symptom.

By looking at the relationship between rider, equipment, movement, and goals, we can make more informed decisions about fit, service, training, and long-term performance. Appointments are structured to provide the time and attention necessary to understand each rider's unique situation and develop solutions that continue to work long after the session is complete.

Because meaningful progress rarely comes from rushing the process.
